How Probegrade scores agent data.
Every listed source is called by automated probes on a fixed schedule. Scores come from those measurements, not from reviews, surveys or payments.
Five things we measure.
Uptime
Share of scheduled probes that succeed.
Latency
Median response time of successful probes.
Schema validity
Whether responses match the documented shape, so agents don't break on surprises.
Freshness
How current the returned data is versus what the source claims.
Price
Cost per call relative to comparable sources.
The score
Signals combine into a 0–100 Probegrade score. The exact weights are kept private so the score can't be gamed.
Our disclosure policy.
Sponsorship never changes scores
Providers can buy sponsored placement. It is always labeled “Sponsored”, shown apart from organic results, and has no effect on scores or ranks.
Verified is identity, not quality
The paid Verified badge confirms who runs a source. It does not raise a score.
Audit trail
Every probe is written to a hash-chained archive. Each monthly edition lists the archive head hash so it can be checked.
Public summary, paid detail
Summary scores are public. Probe-level history and detailed breakdowns are part of paid plans.
